Time to finally set up a website!

Well here I am, Autumn 2020 having had the coronavirus back in July and having been unable to sell my ceramics to the public at our Redlees open studios event because we did not have one. With a UK second wave of COVID-19 almost upon us, inviting the public into our studios for Christmas also seems most unlikely too.

There was only one thing for me to do; finally create that website that I have been meaning to create for years. I am somewhat tech savvy, but by no means a computer lover - it’s a tool to do things with as far as I see it… …so here goes I am into the web age at last…

Over the summer I have been busy with my allotment and beekeeping and that, combined with the varied states of lockdown, have disinclined me from making any pots. I miss having my hands in clay, but I have not been completely uncreative; a weekend in Oxfordshire with my Dad to fire some raku posts (both glazed and naked raku with terra sigillata and porcelain slips) was very productive. When I have finished cleaning up and finally sealing the pots, some of the ‘best of kiln’ will appear for sale in the shop here. I hope people will like them!
