My Story

Makers statement

I am a self-taught artist working in ceramics and I have been making pots since the 1980s.

The majority of my work is thrown on the pottery wheel and is either a vessel or a sculpture.

I have benefited from many years at Adult Education Classes where teachers have challenged me in various ways.

Studios
2000 – 2002        Wimbledon Art Studio, London
2002 – 2006        Westbourne Studios, London
2006 – present    Redlees Studios, London

I have worked in dedicated studio space since 2000.  In the Wimbledon and Westbourne studios I was sharing space with fellow potters, but since moving to Redlees in Isleworth, London in 2006 I have been running my own pottery in a dedicated space.
